My offer was accepted in December, and the mortgage approved in principal by a mortgage lender I approached direct. However, a technicality with the lease caused problems for the lender and by April, these issues still weren’t resolved. I couldn’t get hold of anyone at the lender to explain. In the meantime, the price of the property had increased and the seller was threatening to pull out of the deal. I contacted Jonathan Harris.
